Our keynote speaker will be Portland's NAACP President Pastor E.D. Mondainé,
with OPB News Director and Shir Tikvah member Anna Griffin as our emcee.

This event is a fundraiser for Congregation Shir Tikvah.
It will include opportunities to support Shir Tikvah and community programs.

Wine & gourmet hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Festive attire encouraged!

The highlight of the evening will be remarks by Pastor E.D. Mondainé, president of the Portland NAACP.

Pastor Mondainé, like Rabbi Ariel Stone, is a longtime religious leader. He is the founder and senior pastor of Portland’s Celebration Tabernacle Church, now in its 31st year. He is an author, musician and speaker. He is also the founder of Po’Shines Cafe, the popular Portland restaurant and nonprofit career-training program.

In addition, Pastor Mondainé is a friend and ally of Rabbi Ariel as our communities face rising threats of racism and anti-Semitism. Together, they call us to remember the first days of the NAACP — the civil rights organization founded in 1909 by black and white activists, including many Jews.
