High Holy Days 5786 Registration

Thank you for joining us as we observe the High Holy Days - we welcome your desire to connect with your Jewish community in a way which is spiritually rewarding and beautiful.

Shir Tikvah is an intentional community. We act carefully to build the sense of family among our members and, at the same time, balance our desire to truly welcome guests and seekers with open arms.

We welcome guests our day services for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur - all of them, including those for families with young children. We would also invite you to visit us other times of the year.

Unless noted otherwise, all services will be held at The Eastside Jewish Commons, 2420 NE Sandy Boulevard, Portland, OR 97232

Please enter the number of people attending for each of the festival services listed below. Please note the following:
  • Seating is limited to 150 people per service
  • Priority will be given to Shir Tikvah members.
  • Simply listing your name above does NOT count as registration. You must indicate number attending below (including yourself)
  • If you are not attending a service, select "0"
  • Registration is NOT required for these services:
    • Rosh Hashanah Day 2 (Wed, Sept 24)
    • Yom Kippur Afternoon (Thur, Oct 2, between 1-7pm)
    • Separate Signup for Break-the-Fast (Thur, Oct 2, 7:30pm)

If you are not currently a member, kindly consider making a donation to help sustain Shir Tikvah as Portland's Eastside Jewish synagogue.
You must indicate number attending each service for this registration to be valid. Enter "0" for any service you will not be attending. Make sure number attending INCLUDES YOURSELF as one of the attendees

DONATION

Shir Tikvah does not charge admission to our High Holy Days services. Even so, there are significant costs associated with these holidays. We would gratefully accept your support at any level you can comfortably contribute. Your donation supports general operations as well as childcare. 

CHILDCARE

Childcare will be provided free of charge from 9:00am-12:00pm on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur mornings for children ages 5-12.  Children must be potty trained. NOTE: childcare is by advanced registration ONLY. No drop-ins, please.
